Wild Bees Sustainable
Local small business focused on eco-friendly products that need a wide range of services before they began selling their products.
I created the branding, packaging, and booth design for Wild Bees Sustainable, a small business that produces handmade, eco-friendly products. One of the main worries of the client was keeping the printing process and packaging as eco-friendly as possible to align with their brand values. Another problem I had to approach was that the client sells mainly through the local farmers market. I knew approaching the packaging the same as I would for a product sold in stores would be a mistake. With theses things in mind I focused on 3 things with the packaging: material, form, and eye-catching. Many of the products the client produces are not widely known so it was important for me to be able to showcase the products held within the package while still keeping them contained.
After figuring out the branding and packaging my next challenge was the booth set up. To stand out in a farmers market it is important to always look stocked and to have multiple levels of the products to be able to showcase. The client also wanted to be able to keep the whole booth contained in a small area when it was being stored. Using these parameters I went with a simple layout that would direct traffic into and around the booth. To keep with the eco-friendly aspect I used all wooden shelves and crates to hold/display the products. I also used wood to create the sing at the front of the booth. To make the whole booth easy to store, all the wooden shelves were able to breakdown and be held within the crates. The other 2 wooden crates are capable of holding whatever product is left.
